Decree No. 18 of the year 2012 Regarding the Cabinet Formation

Having reviewed the Constitution,

and our Order issued on the 14th of Rabie I 1433 A.H., corresponding to the 6th of February 2012, appointing His Highness Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah as the Prime Minister,

and based on the presentation of the Prime Minister,

We have decreed the following:

Article 1: Each of the following shall be appointed:

1	Ahmed Hamoud Al-Jaber Al-Sabah	First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior
2	Ahmed Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah	Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense
3	Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah	Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs
4	Mustafa Jassem Al-Shamali	Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance
5	Anas Khalid Al-Saleh	Minister of Commerce & Industry
6	Lt. General Ahmed Abdul-Latif Al-Rujeib	Minister of Social Affairs and Labor
7	Jamal Ahmad Al-Shihab	Minister of Justice and Minister of Awqaf & Islamic Affairs
8	Salem Mutheyeb Ahmed Al-Utheina	Minister of Communications
9	Shueib Shabab Al-Muweizri	Minister of State for Housing Affairs and Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs
10	Dr. Ali Saad Al-Obeidi	Minister of Health
11	Abdul-Aziz Abdul-Latif Al-Ibrahim	Minister of Electricity & Water and Minister of State for Municipal Affairs
12	Dr. Fadhel Safar Ali Safar	Minister of Public Works and Minister of State for Planning & Development Affairs
13	Mohammad Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah	Minister of Information

Article Two: The Prime Minister shall inform this decree to the National Assembly. It shall take effective from the date of issue and will he published in the official gazette.

To bestow a title upon the Prime Minister

Following a review of the constitution And upon our order issued on the 5th of Moharram 1433 A.H, corresponding to the 30th of November 2011 for appointing the Prime Minister. We ordered the following

Article One: The Prime Minister is addressed as follows "His Highness Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister.”

Article Two: The Prime Minister and Ministers shall implement our order from the date it is issued, and it shall be published in the official paper.

To appoint the Prime Minister

Following a review of the constitution, and our order issued on the 3rd Moharram 1433 A.H corresponding to 28th of November 2011, accepting the resignation of the Prime Minister.

Article One : The appointment of Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah as Prime Minister, he is charged with proposing members of the new cabinet and submitting their names to us, to issue a decree for their appointment.

Article Two : The Prime Minister must implement our decree, inform the National Assembly, and it is effective from the date it is issued, then it is published in the official paper.
