	He was the youngest “Dean of the Diplomatic Corps” in the world, during his tenure in Iran as Ambassador.
August 1990	Undertook the task of supervising the Kuwaiti media in the first months of the occupation and operated the first Kuwaiti broadcasting station in exile.
October 1990	His was the first Kuwaiti voice to be heard over the radio during the Iraqi aggression, saying " This is Kuwait". He authorized the daily publishing of "The Voice of Kuwait" newspaper which represented the Kuwaiti People.

16 December 2009	His Highness won a majority Parliamentary Vote for the non-cooperation motion submitted by some MP’s following the interpellation.
18 December 2009	His Highness headed the Kuwaiti delegation to the 15th United Nations Summit on Climate Change representing His Highness the Amir.
