Response to the Amiri Order

Your Highness,

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh

It was an honour to comply with your Highness' wish to assume the position of Prime Minister, and the acceptance of fellow Ministers to participate in bearing this great national responsibility. The government jointly expresses its sincere gratitude and pride at the confidence and blessings Your Highness has granted them.
We are aware, Your Highness that we are approaching a delicate period of national action, where responsibilities increase and it becomes a priority to intensify efforts, present sacrifices and protect our vested interests as well as achieve anticipated objectives in the interest of Kuwait and its continuous safety and security, preserving its freedom, justice and democracy.
Your Highness, we are on the threshold of a promising future, guided by our religion and virtuous traditions, directed by your wise instructions and committed to close solidarity between members of the government. We are keen to achieve positive and constructive cooperation with the venerable National Assembly by shouldering the collective responsibility in attaining the interest of the country and citizens.
I ask Almighty Allah to grant us success, guide and assist us in accomplishing the duties that await us, through fulfilling the great oath and safeguarding the confidence we enjoy, while maintaining the interests of our beloved Kuwait and realizing the aspirations of its noble people under the wise leadership of Your Highness and His Highness the Crown Prince.
