Decree number 119 for the year 2009

Cabinet Formation

 

Following a review of the constitution,
and our order issued on the 25th Jamada I 1430 Hijra, corresponding to the 20th of May2009, His Highness Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah is appointed Prime Minister,
And In Accordance with the recommendations of the Prime Minister,

We have decreed the following:

Article One
Appointing the following:

1. Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah 
First Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defense

2. Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah
Deputy Premier, and Minister of Foreign Affairs

3. Rashed Abdul Mohsen Al-Hammaad
Deputy Prime Minister for Legal Affairs, Minister of Justice and Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs

4. Ahmad Fahad Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah
Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Minister of State for Development Affairs and Minister of State for Housing Affairs

5. Ahmad Rashed Al-Haroun
Minister of Commerce and Industry

6. Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah
Minister of Oil and Information

7. Bader Shebib Al-Shuraiaan
Minister of Electricity and Water

8. Jaber Khaled Jaber Al-Sabah

The Prime Minister must inform the National Assembly of this decree, implement it from the date it is issued and it is published in the official paper.
