Amiri Decree
Accepting the resignation of the Prime Minister

Following a revision of the constitution, And upon our order issued on the 15th of Jamada I 1429 Hijra, corresponding to the 20th of May, 2008, appointing His Highness Sheikh Nasser Al- Mohammed Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah Prime Minister,

and upon decree number 133 for the year 2008 to form a cabinet and the related amended decree number 175 for the year 2008,
and upon the  letter of resignation submitted to us by His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah on the 25th of November 2008,

We ordered the following:

Article one

The acceptance of the resignation of His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah and the cabinet, while each continues to conduct the urgent matters pertinent to his post until a new cabinet is formed.

Article two

The National Assembly is informed of this order, it takes effect from the date it is issued and it is published in the official paper.
